So this literally just happened about 20 minutes ago. This guy has parked in front of my house before but this time I was already parked their. Right now I'm waiting for the police officer to show up but I recorded a quick video as evidence. I will update more on the situation when the officer shows up. But here's the video right now.
I highly doubt there is damage so I most likely won't be calling it in to my insurance but the fact of the matter is you should not make contact with someone else's car regardless if there is damage or not. And yes this is the same guy from my video Random Roanoke VA Dashcam Footage 3 at 1:50
Update: So I called our local police department (not 911 as it wasn't an emergency) because of two reasons 1. I didn't know what house they went into and 2. I had no idea who they were, so calling a police officer to the scene would be the safest thing to do. The police officer arrived on the scene and found it belonged to someone across the street. I found out that it was an older guy that looked to be in his late 50s early 60s and was really cool about the whole thing, his excuse was that he didn't even feel hitting my car and that he parked in front of my house because his friends wife needs the driveway and his friend parks in front of his house. He moved his car and as I suspected there was no damage done so there was no need to call it in to our insurance company's.
So at the end of the day no harm was done. We all have our Idiot moments from time to time as it's all part of being human, thankfully this time it was not a huge mistake!
