I posted this video in another forum I frequent and a lot of the feedback has been negative, calling me an "aggressive driver." I am curious to know what you folks think, as in general I think your judgment is probably better.

holy [Please edit your post and choose a publicly appropriate word, no modified curse words either] dude...aggressive much are ya? Certainly looks like it to me. People are under no obligation to pull up to the person in front of them's bumper just for you.
Civilized people pay attention to the traffic behind them and pull up because it's the decent thing to do rather than blocking traffic just to play with their little mobile phones.
I just re-watched it again. Explain to me how anything I did, other than the one time when I cut in front of the woman, is "aggressive."

His reply:
Let's see, :42 seconds in when you slide up on the jeeps ass without slowing much. 2:35 when you "slalom" and break the law. 3:45 when you ride on a car's ass, swerve around them and then stomp on the gas? Shall I go on? Almost every encounter you posted has you being an aggressive driver at best, dangerously unsafe at worst.
My response:
Are you really as much of a as you're making yourself sound? You're completely exaggerating everything you describe, especially at 2:35. Nothing in that segment involves "breaking the law." (I didn't even cross a solid line, but interestingly, it's not illegal in Virginia to cross a single solid line unless in doing so you drive on the shoulder. Crossing a single solid line is merely "discouraged," whereas crossing a double line, either white or yellow, is illegal.) You don't get to decide the second turn lane is off-limits just because you think people should leave multiple carlengths when they stop.
You want clips of dangerous driving, I'll be happy to give you some of those later or this weekend. Bottom line is, having little tolerance for stupid people is not the same thing as "dangerous" or "aggressive" driving.
I'd suggest you're just annoyed because you probably leave too much space and you see yourself in those clips, but since I have no idea who you are or how you drive I won't suggest that.

He is absolutely an aggressive driver, has been in just about all the clips he has posted. He also has no tolerance for the fact that maybe, just maybe, people don't know all the streets as well as he does and aren't always sure what lane they need to be in. In addition, in driving school they teach you to stop a car length back from the car in front of you at a red light.
There are plenty of dumb and bad drivers around here. A lot of the people hoo highlights may be dumb or bad at driving, or maybe some of them are driving on unfamiliar roads. However, hoo is also an aggressive driver in most of them (and I venture to say it is likely all of the time and isn't just in the clips he posts based on his wife yelling at him to stop being a dick or something in one of them).

In most of his videos, the tape is sped up, so it may give the impression he's cutting it close; but I bet if you watched them in real-time, they wouldn't look as bad....he's just fed up with shitty drivers, as we all get--but as long as he's not trying to run them off the road, or confronting them at a red light, I don't see it as all that aggressive...
I do the same thing sometimes--but I do it under my breath, not in a way that they know I'm yelling about them...so I guess I'm an "aggressive" driver, too...
