Now for something really different… things to ponder (and just go for the ride and enjoy .
You've been time traveling and didn't even know it.
PART 1
You know how google maps can capture people on the ground (from satellite images), and you probably already know that government satellites can see even better, so in fact these higher resolutions satellites could see you. I'm sure if the Hubble telescope was turned your way they could see the hairs on your head.
Okay you got that part, lets move on to the second piece...
PART 2
Now think of the stars you see in the sky. One particular star you've looked lets say it is a million light years away (meaning it takes light a million years to reach the earth and your eyes). Of course you're looking at some solar system's sun and that sun is shining on the planets that revolve around it. If you had a really giant telescope that could block out the glare of that sun you might even make out plants floating around this sun. An even larger telescope (maybe the size of our planet?), at least theoretically, you might be able to achieve resolution as good as a google type satellite and therefore could see alien people walking around their earth-like planet.
Now here's the fun part...
PART 3
Now you know you can be seen during the day because light reflects off yourself. This reflected light can be seen by others from across the room, down the block, from all sorts of distances, including from space.
So this, and since we're talking about the reflected light of you traveling out into space, means that your image and everything you do is in fact traveling out into outer-space, and those alien people on that planet you were looking at, if they had a really humongous telescope like the one you saw them with, could also see you, in a million years from now.
This means, up to one million years and on into infinity, the things you do outside and in view of the sky will pass through the universe long after you are gone, so enjoy the ride
