Hey all,
Bad Drivers of Southern California advised me to come here and sign up. Browsed the site a bit and like what I see.
Purchased two GT680W dash cams after my girlfriend and I were rear ended twice. First hit was 15MPH and the second hit was 50MPH only a second after the first. Because of the second hit we were pushed into the car in front of us. The driver of that car tried to tell the cops that we hit him first. After the cops questioned us and found out our stories matched each others, he determined the front car was incorrect.
This got me to thinking though. What if it had just been one of us in the car? Then what would have happened? Would we have been to blame for the accident even though we didn't cause it? So in comes the dash cams. One in her replacement Honda Fit and one in my MR2.
Then I found a couple YouTube users that posted their dash cam videos and decided to follow suit. Currently working on Episode 3 and going to upload it soon. I subscribed to a number of dash camers and a couple have subed back. Next my mind started thinking why not put all the videos in one place. So I purchased driversgonebad.com loaded it with wordpress and a plugin that takes channels and playlists and automatically embeds them to the site. So when a channel or playlist is updated the new video(s) are linked to the site. I do ask permission before I link the channel or playlist just so you know.
If anyone would allow me to link to your YouTube channel or playlist that would be great. The videos remain yours completely. All the site does is display them in order of date published. I also put links to the contributors channel on the right side. Speaking of links I would like to link to here if that is ok.
Last, here is Episode 2. I'm not the best video editor but the point still comes across. Warning contains bad language randomly.
